thegeekwiththefro asked: I heard that Pillowfort is paid only for now, while they're in beta.
Ah. I certainly hope so.
Anonymous asked: Not entirely sure how they work, but I have a friend who vouches for Mastodon as an alternative, and pillowfort is a hopefully-soon-to-be alternative.
Mastodon has a 500 character post limit and Pillowfort is paid.
just doing a small little test don’t mind me none

I have an FA but I haven’t posted anything there in a while, nor do I really plan on using it much. Regardless: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/reiduran/
Newgrounds, same, I haven’t posted anything there at all: https://reiduran.newgrounds.com/
These aren’t what I want in a site. Just galleries aren’t fun. I want to be able to post something and then have someone respond to that post with like, an edit or a coloring or something, and then I want to be able to share that edit with everyone in the same post. If Tumblr did anything right, it was the way they could let others edit and add onto ideas.
Gallery sites like Newgrounds, Fur Affinity, Deviant Art and Pixiv just don’t do that. I’ve said it before, but they’re islands. You get a letter that someone you follow posted something and then you sail to their island to interact with them. When you’re done, you leave. There’s no easy intermingling of ideas, there. There’s no fluidity or life to anything. It’s just “look at my stuff”.

I’m not thrilled to use Twitter. It’s horrible for art, but it’s now the only site that does the timeline thing I want.
Honestly I’m kinda just tired.

it was fun while it lasted, thanks guys.
