I think you could make a Patreon work, you'd really only need to do one or two small things a month, which you practically always do. And what would the harm be? Even if you only get ten people, that's still better than the zero people you're getting currently. Hell, why not ask now? Say a Patreon for five dollars a month, put up a post asking how many would contribute, count the positive asks you get in reply.
