Real talk, how much do you think I should charge for lineart akin to what I posted earlier?

  1. deadbeforedawn answered: attempt a few more images with that lineart style.
  2. whotreadsthere answered: Like, $40. More if they want detailing. Maybe less if its simpler.
  3. zippysqrl answered: For high quality linework like that? at LEAST $50
  4. ariamaki answered: I’d pay 15-20 for a smaller one, maybe 25-30 for one that size, depending on complexity and such?
  5. urban-meadows answered: For your artwork, no less than $45
  6. oppa-homeless-style answered: 20-25 I guess
  7. sarssol answered: Considering how amazing your art is, I’m surprised you charge less than $20 for a sketch. Cleaned up lines would usually be ~$10 more.
  8. mlj-lucarias answered: 3.50 - 4 depending on the amount of lineart
  9. myshamefulbronynsfw answered: Bare minimum of $25, probably more like $30-40. But better to set rates by (hourly wage) x (time to complete).
  10. nihilagis answered: I’m not a big expert, but I’d say… $40, give or take?
  11. little-moist answered: Hard to say. depends on how much time you spend on it, really. But you charge $15-$25 for a sketch right? another $10-$15 for lineart is pretty much the norm.
  12. mrbity answered: $30+, easy.
  13. meticulousdraftsman answered: The cleaned-up stuff for the vamp character? 25-40bux
  14. wizzzzzzard answered: 20 to 25 dollars
  15. jonfawkes answered: That’s some lovely high quality work. I don’t think it would be unreasonable to charge $10-$15 an hour for that, you would be justified in charging more
  16. wolfnanaki answered: I say anywhere between $20 and $30. That degree of complexity doesn’t come cheap.
  17. mrsparklesfantastic answered: The going rate for sketches seems to be at or above 20 dollars, with clean lines usually being about 10 bucks higher at the least. I’d say shoot for the moon and go for 35.
