is there a story out there where a group of people go on the most advanced rocket to the nearest star system and when they get there they find humanity has already populated it because of time, relativity, and the advancement of technology allowing for better forms of travel that let the rest of everyone get there ahead of them

because it feels like that’s something that should have already been written
